Where spring's charm dazzles, Panlong District is in full bloom. As jacarandas prepare to unleash their purple storm, Kunming's Panlong District has quietly launched two waves of "absolutely stunning purple"—one offering a journey through the millennia-old Silk Road via mystical plants and the other inviting you to experience romantic spring moments beneath cascading wisteria waterfalls.

From April 9 to May 22, 2025, the 7th Allium Plant Culture and Art Exhibition, themed "A Glimpse of Alliums, Ten Thousand Years of Silk Road," has arrived "with allium charm".

2025年4月9日至5月22日，“蔥蔥一眼，絲路萬年”為主題的第七屆蔥屬植物文化藝術(shù)展已“蔥蔥來襲”。

The exhibition is held at the China-Ukraine Global Allium Garden (Kunming Center) in the East Garden of the Kunming Botanical Garden, showcasing over a dozen varieties and approximately 1,000 ornamental Allium plants, along with some wild species and economic Alliums. As various allium flowers bloom, the garden will transform into a fresh, purple-hued wonder during the event.

本次蔥展地點(diǎn)依然位于昆明植物園東園的中烏全球蔥園（昆明中心），集中展示十幾個(gè)品種，約上千株的觀賞性蔥屬（Allium）植物，以及部分原生種和經(jīng)濟(jì)類的蔥屬植物。隨著各類蔥花的綻放，蔥展期間，中烏全球蔥園（昆明中心）將變成一派紫色的清新美景。

Within the garden, over 5,800 Allium plants weave a purple starry sea. Giant alliums bloom like massive lollipops in the sky, while the China-Ukraine Global Allium Garden carries the plant genetic code of the Belt and Road Initiative.

園內(nèi)，5800余株蔥屬植物編織出紫色星海，大花蔥如巨型棒棒糖綻放云端，中烏全球蔥園更藏著"一帶一路"的植物基因密碼。

These Allium plants are both familiar and unfamiliar—ranging from the "onions" and "garlic" we know, to common table staples like chives, onions, and Chinese onion. There are also ornamental varieties for gardening, such as Allium giganteum and Allium wallichii . During the exhibition, these ornamental alliums will bloom in succession, inviting you to witness their stunning beauty.

既熟悉又陌生的蔥屬植物，其中有我們熟知的“蔥”和“蒜”，以及平日里飯桌上常見的韭菜、洋蔥和藠頭等；也有可供園藝種植的觀賞植物，如大花蔥、多星韭等。本次蔥展期間，這些觀賞蔥類次第開放，邀您來一睹風(fēng)采。

When the spring breeze blows, the wisteria in the expo garden reaches its peak bloom. Cascading layers of purple flower clusters, like waterfalls pouring down from the sky, create an exquisite display.

As one of the largest wisteria viewing spots in the southwest region, the Luquan Ping'anfu Scenic Area is renowned for its diverse varieties and long blooming period. This year's wisteria display is particularly spectacular, with shades ranging from light purple, pinkish white to deep purple weaving together to form layers of "aerial flower corridors". The scenic area has specially designed artistic flower racks, where various wisteria vines entwine. Strolling through them, the rich fragrance of the flowers refreshes both the body and mind. Sunlight filters through the flower clusters, casting dappled shadows. Every snap of the camera captures a poetic and grand scene.
